At Shalom Counseling & Wellness Consultancy, we believe that your mental health and wellness matters. We are passionate about it and our mission is to ensure that you access high quality and effective mental health and wellness services conviniently and affordably. We are committed to  walking with you into a brighter, better and peaceful future. 

Since 2016, we have excelled in providing preventative and restorative mental health and psychological services to individuals and groups while undertaking mental health consultancy for organisations in the Public and Private Sector. We also specialize in psychological screening and assessments.

Ruth is a highly sought after clinical psychologist with over 7 years of experience working with people who have diverse mental health and wellness needs such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, suicide ideation, general stress, marital & relationship issues, drug and substance abuse, loss and grief among others.

CBT-Individual-counseling

Individual Therapy

Individual counselling or therapy is a one-on-one psychological counselling session between the client and the therapist/counsellor/psychologist meant to address the concerns a client is facing. The sessions can be done physically(in-person) or virtually through tele-counselling or video link. Individual counselling is suitable for clients who wish to deal with any social, psychological, or emotional issues of concern to them.

CBT-for-couples counseling

Couples & Marital Therapy

Couple’s counselling is a form of group therapy where people in a romantic relationship seek and receive support to address issues affecting their relationship. Also, a couple may not have issues but may simply be interested in improving a certain aspect of the relationship. Couples’ counselling includes both premarital and marital counselling. Married and unmarried couples can greatly benefit from this form of therapy.

Support Group Counselling

Support group counselling is a form of group therapy where more than 2 people with similar concerns meet and share their experiences while seeking and receiving support on how to cope with, overcome or manage their issue. The counsellor/therapist assumes the role of a facilitator who enables the participants to share their experiences in a safe, orderly, and confidential manner. Support group counselling is common for clients or caregivers of clients with chronic conditions, clients struggling with substance abuse, loss & grief among others.
